Job description

Required Skills:

Bachelor of Science degree

3 years of power electronics design experience.

Familiarity with several power converter circuit topologies and ability to analyze.

Experience with control loop theory and analysis.

Experience with circuit simulation using PSIM, MATLAB or similar.

Desirable: Experience with magnetic circuit simulation and analysis using ANSYS Maxwell or similar.


As a Power Electronics Engineer, you will:

Be responsible for circuit-level design, simulation, and troubleshooting to support power supply and power converter applications.

Direct small team on power electronics projects.

Read customer specifications and apply to the power electronics system requirements.

Use thermal design skills and design appropriate thermal management systems.

Perform circuit design while considering electro-magnetic interference and susceptibility.

Perform magnetics design and evaluation of components such as transformers, inductors and ferrite core materials.
