We host a variety of events, meetings, and banquets, while also taking care of the facility grounds. This part-time role is a great opportunity for self-motivated individuals who are dedicated to the work environment and can work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. DESCRIPTION OF WORK This part-time position supports event operations by helping maintain the Farm Show Complex and preparing it for many different activities. The best part is experiencing each event and interacting with the community-each day is different and entertaining. As a permanent, part-time member of our Event Services Operations Staff, you will perform the following duties: Facility Setup: Prepare and arrange tables, chairs, stages, and other items for events, guests, and exhibitors Custodial Tasks: Clean restrooms, remove trash and maintain indoor areas in good condition Grounds Care: Remove debris, shovel snow, and keep outdoor spaces clear and safe Livestock Areas: Assemble, clean, repair, and tear down livestock pens, stalls, and cages Material Handling: Load and unload supplies, equipment, hay, feed, and other items General Maintenance: Use tools to complete basic repairs, wash windows, disinfect areas, paint surfaces, and complete other tasks as needed to help maintain facility spaces Interested in learning more.

Work Schedule and Additional Information: FREE on-site parking Permanent, part-time employment Essential employee - required to report to work during emergencies and office closings. Available shifts are: Saturday - Sunday, 7:00AM - 3:30PM Saturday - Sunday, 2:30PM - 11:00PM Telework: You will not have the option to telework in this position.
