The Opportunity


We're seeking a Commercial Project Manager with a background in commercial and/or residential construction who's ready to grow with a communitydriven general contractor. With a collaborative team, diverse project opportunities, and strong mentorship, you'll help deliver quality projects and a great client experience across the Fraser Valley.


As a Commercial Project Manager, you will plan and supervise a wide range of construction projects from start to finish. You'll organize and oversee construction procedures, coordinate multidisciplinary teams, and ensure work is completed safely, on time, and within budget. Wellversed in construction methodologies and project controls, you'll drive schedules, manage documentation, and keep stakeholders aligned.


This role is based out of the Fraser Valley, with the possibility of travel to out-of-town projects. If you are positive, people-oriented, and excited to build meaningful spaces for the communities we serve this could be the role for you!


Your Key Responsibilities


  • Collaborate with all project stakeholders, engineers, architects, clientsto determine and coordinate the specifications of the project.
  • Negotiate contracts, award contracts, and manage subcontractors.
  • Review all shop drawings for coordination.
  • Submit and manage RFIs and Submittals.
  • Develop and plan for project requirements (manpower,equipmentand materials.)
  • Coding of all job costs and monthly reporting on financial project status.
  • Chairing of required project meetings.
  • Development and updating of project schedule.
  • Write scope of work documents.
  • Supervise the work of staff.
  • Duties may evolve based on project needs, organizational priorities, and direction from leadership.

Your Qualifications & Skills


  • Minimum 5 years of Proven experience as a Commercial / Residential Project Manager.
  • In depth understanding of construction and project management principles.
  • Outstanding communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Experience with Worksafe BC safety standards.
  • Good knowledge of MS Office (including MS Project).
  • Familiarity with Vista by Viewpoint an asset.
  • PMP or equivalent certification would be an asset.
  • Red Seal trade qualification is an asset.
  • Valid Driver's License and clean abstract required.
