Staff Development Coordinator RN SDC

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Staff Development Coordinator RN SDC to join our team at Highlands Rehabilitation and Wellness Center in Birmingham, AL. As a compassionate and innovative healthcare organization, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and creating a positive work environment for our employees. The successful candidate will work closely with our nursing staff to develop and implement training programs, improve patient outcomes, and advance our center's reputation for excellence.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive staff development programs, including orientation, training, and continuing education, to enhance nursing skills and knowledge
• Collaborate with nursing staff to identify areas for improvement and develop targeted training initiatives to address these gaps
• Design and deliver educational materials, such as training manuals, presentations, and workshops, to staff and patients
• Conduct performance evaluations and provide feedback to nursing staff to support professional growth and development

Requirements:
