Job description

As a Passenger Driver, you will play a vital role in helping individuals with disabilities maintain their independence by providing safe, reliable transportation to and from their homes and workplaces. Your work directly impacts our clients' ability to participate in their communities, maintain employment, and achieve their personal goals.

This position is based out of our Rancho Cucamonga office, where company vehicles are picked up and returned each day. Drivers will primarily serve the Inland Empire region, transporting clients between their homes, workplaces, and community locations while ensuring a positive, professional, and supportive experience during every trip.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Safely transport individuals with disabilities to and from work, home, and approved community locations.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
  • Maintain accurate transportation logs and required documentation.
  • Ensure passenger safety and comfort throughout each trip.
  • Assist passengers as needed while maintaining dignity, respect, and professionalism.
  • Follow all DOT regulations, company policies, and safety procedures.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors, clients, family members, and support staff.
  • Maintain a clean and professional vehicle environment.

Qualifications

All applicants must possess the following current and valid credentials:

  • Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement.
  • DOT Physical Examination (completed within the past two years).
  • VDDP Certification OR School Bus Endorsement (VIP may assist with renewal if needed).
  • Current First Aid/CPR Certification, or willingness to obtain and maintain certification.

Additional Requirements:

  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Flexible schedule and availability to meet transportation needs.
  • Excellent driving record and commitment to safety.
  • Previous passenger transportation experience is preferred but not required.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is a plus.
