Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Kennel Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing high-quality care for animals in a kennel environment. Your primary focus will be on ensuring the health, safety, and well-being of the animals while also delivering exceptional customer service to pet owners. This position is ideal for individuals who are passionate about animal care and have experience working with various types of pets.
Duties

  • Provide daily care for dogs and other animals, including feeding, bathing , and exercising.
  • Maintain cleanliness in the kennel area by regularly cleaning and sanitizing kennels, play areas, and equipment.
  • Monitor the health and behavior of animals, reporting any concerns to management or veterinary staff.
  • Assist with animal restraint during grooming or veterinary procedures as needed.
  • Engage with pet owners to provide updates on their pets and address any questions or concerns.
  • Support dog training sessions and assist with behavioral assessments when required.
  • Help with the intake process for new animals, including documentation and assessments.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a safe and positive environment for both pets and staff.
