Description

The Bag staff is a 8–9 month seasonal position (includes school year) and candidates are expected to work a minimum of 4 days per week with at least one weekend day and 1-2 days during the school year. Additional hours may be required during tournament weeks. Members of our bag staff must have an adequate knowledge of the game of golf as well as value being part of a strong team-oriented culture. Our bag staff is also required to maintain a high level of quality appearance standards as you are interacting with all golfing members, as well as their guests.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Head Professional, Assistant Professionals and Golf Shop Staff with the execution of all member events and golf outings.
  • Communicate effectively with members and guests.
  • Be available and visible to members and guests to provide exemplary service.
  • Responsible for the cleaning and safe keeping of all members' golf clubs in storage.
  • Golf cart cleanliness and light maintenance.
  • Practice facility set up, cleanliness, and closing procedures.

Skills

  • Strong communication skills, service oriented, attention to detail and problem-solving skills required.
  • Be well organized and function well under pressure.

Working Conditions

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, lift items over 20lbs, work in varying weather conditions, hear and speak clearly.
