Job description

IS4S is looking to add a full-time Accountant to our Accounting division. In this role, you’ll report to our Senior Accountant. The candidate will provide support in Accounts Payable and Payroll.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process biweekly payroll using Costpoint Time & Expense and Costpoint Payroll
  • Maintain detailed payroll and accounts payable files
  • Upload 401(k) deferrals to 401(k) provider each pay day
  • Process payroll tax payments each pay day, monthly and quarterly
  • Process payroll tax returns
  • Set up state tax accounts as required
  • Enter Accounts Payable into Costpoint
  • Create new users in Costpoint
  • Review coding of any additional Accounts Payable and Expense Reports entered into Costpoint by other employees
  • Process sales and use tax
  • Worker's Comp audits


Required Qualifications

  • Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Must demonstrate self-initiative, teamwork, and the ability to work with minimal supervision
  • Familiarity with Deltek Costpoint
  • Familiarity with Government contracting
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Outlook


Desired Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with sales and use tax for multiple locations is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with state payroll taxes for multiple locations is preferred but not required
  • Must be detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy
  • Must be able to learn new systems and processes quickly
  • Must be able to prioritize multiple assignments and meet deadlines..
  • 10-15 years of experience in accounting, payroll, and/or AP
