SUMMARY
Under the general supervision and guidance of the Event Operations Manager, the Events Assistant will play a crucial part in ensuring smooth gameday operations and supporting various tasks at America First Field (AFF). You will be responsible for assisting with setup and teardown for home games, as well as daily operational tasks and equipment management.
Availability Requirements: flexible shift hours during the week, non-flexible hours on gamedays
This is a part-time, non-benefited position.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:
  • Assist with gameday setup and teardown for large events at America First Field, including Real Salt Lake and Utah Royals FC.
  • Support daily operational tasks at America First Field.
  • Help with moving, setup, teardown, and storage of equipment for all events at AFF.
  • Ensure the general upkeep and cleanliness of operational spaces throughout the stadium.
  • Participates in improvement and upgrade projects happening within the stadium.
  • Take advantage of opportunities to work in additional private events at AFF, with the potential for increased pay and managerial roles.
  • Collaborate closely with the AFF Operations team to ensure efficient operations.
  • Other duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Available to college students (can work around school schedule) and may be used as school/internship credit.
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
  • Professional, friendly demeanor and attitude.
  • Superior organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent people skills, including verbal and written communication.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends to accommodate the team's schedule and events

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT:
The job requires regularly lifting/pushing up to 25 pounds and occasionally lifting/pushing more than 50 pounds or exerting heavy force, in a wide disparity or environmental conditions. The job involves standing, stooping, bending, lifting, pushing, typing, etc.
