A proactive and results-driven Catering Sales Manager who will champion our catering business and deliver exceptional experiences for every client. In this role, you'll own the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to event execution, while building strong relationships that drive revenue and repeat business. What You'll Do:

  • Respond promptly to incoming leads and actively prospect for new catering opportunities.

  • Plan, coordinate, and service all booked catering events, ensuring flawless execution.

  • Conduct site visits and design experiences that convert prospects into loyal clients.

  • Collaborate with the Director of Meetings & Events to implement annual catering strategies, including promotions and sales blitzes.

  • Partner with Culinary and Food & Beverage teams to create customized menus that elevate the guest experience.

  • Maintain and optimize third-party website presence in partnership with Brand and PR teams.

  • Block space effectively in Delphi to maximize revenue, following property policies.

  • Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders, resumes, and other documentation to ensure operational efficiency.

  • Schedule and lead pre- and post-convention meetings, providing exceptional client support.

  • Encourage rebooking by discussing future event plans and soliciting feedback through Meeting Planner Surveys.

  • Partner with the Financial Service Center to ensure accurate credit and billing processes.

  • Participate in internal meetings and contribute to special projects as assigned.

  • Regular attendance in conformance with standards.

  • May be required to work varying schedules to reflect business needs.

  • Required to attend all mandatory training sessions and meetings.

  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Your Qualifications Include:

  • Minimum 1 year of experience in sales, event execution or related experience, preferably in the hospitality industry, preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Hospitality Management or equivalent experience, preferred.

  • Knowledge of hotel operations.

  • Proficient Microsoft Office Suite, Delphi experience preferred.

  • Ability to stand, sit, walk, reach, and lift/pull/push 35 plus pounds regularly throughout the shift.
