What is stadium hospitality?

Stadium hospitality refers to the premium services and experiences offered to guests at sporting events, concerts, and other large-scale events held in stadiums. These services can include access to exclusive lounges or suites, premium seating, gourmet food and beverages, and dedicated concierge support. Stadium hospitality aims to enhance the overall event experience, often catering to corporate clients, VIPs, or fans seeking a more luxurious and comfortable environment. The offerings can vary widely depending on the venue and the type of event. Many stadiums partner with specialized hospitality providers to deliver these experiences.

What are some common challenges faced in a stadium hospitality role and how can they be managed?

Stadium hospitality professionals often encounter challenges such as managing large crowds, handling high-pressure situations during peak event times, and ensuring consistent service quality despite rapidly changing circumstances. Effective communication with both team members and guests is essential, as is the ability to stay organized and adaptable. Many teams hold pre-event briefings and ongoing training sessions to help staff anticipate issues and work collaboratively to resolve them quickly, making a positive guest experience possible even during the busiest events.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive in Stadium Hospitality, and why are they important?

To thrive in Stadium Hospitality, you need a solid understanding of customer service, food and beverage operations, and event management, often supported by experience in hospitality or related certifications. Familiarity with point-of-sale (POS) systems, reservation software, and health and safety regulations is typically required. Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills help you provide exceptional guest experiences and adapt to high-pressure, fast-paced environments. These skills are crucial for ensuring efficient operations, guest satisfaction, and a positive atmosphere during large-scale events.

Status: Full-time
Summary:
The Sr. Manager of Luxury Hospitality will play a pivotal role in the development, execution, and continuous evolution of premium hospitality programs across the South Florida Motorsports (SFM) and the Hard Rock Stadium Enterprise. In addition to day-to-day operational management, this position will contribute to the product development of future Hard Rock Stadium hospitality concepts — curating the end-to-end guest experience across entertainment, food and beverage, gifting, suite design, and service differentiation.
This role blends hospitality strategy, culinary innovation, product development and operational execution to create differentiated guest experiences.
Working closely with the VP of Luxury Hospitality amp; Curated Experiences, this individual will ensure that all premium programs reflect the organization’s commitment to exceptional service, innovative design, and world-class guest delivery.
The ideal candidate has a passion for exceptional hospitality, an understanding of luxury food and beverage experiences, and the ability to transform ideas into operationally executable, financially sustainable hospitality products.
Location:
  • This is a full-time position based on site at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, FL.
Responsibilities:
Enterprise Hospitality Operations
  • Lead hospitality operations across the enterprise, including the Formula 1 Miami Grand Prix, Precision Drive Club, Miami Dolphins home games, concerts, and ancillary events.
  • Oversee all phases of event execution - from planning and logistics to onsite operations and post-event recaps -to ensure seamless delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
Luxury Hospitality amp; Product Development
  • Partner with the VP of Luxury Hospitality to conceptualize and develop new premium hospitality products and experiences at Hard Rock Stadium.
  • Curate elevated guest experiences, including entertainment, culinary programming, design, gifting, service rituals, and differentiated suite offerings.
  • Collaborate with executive chefs and hospitality partners to develop innovative culinary concepts, signature experiences, and premium beverage programs that enhance existing and future hospitality offerings.
Event Planning amp; Guest Experience
  • Develop operational plans, event layouts, run-of-show documents, staffing plans, and service standards for premium events.
  • Lead onsite execution, ensuring every guest touchpoint reflects the organization's luxury hospitality standards.
  • Conduct pre-event briefings and provide hands-on leadership to drive consistent white-glove service.
Cross-Functional Leadership
  • Collaborate with internal teams - including Food amp; Beverage, Stadium Operations, Marketing, Partnerships, and Events - to ensure seamless coordination across all aspects of the guest journey.
  • Serve as the operational and creative liaison between departments, contributing to both immediate event execution and long-term hospitality strategy.
Vendor amp; Partner Management
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and hospitality partners, ensuring contractual compliance, operational excellence, and alignment with brand standards.
Performance amp; Continuous Improvement
  • Prepare post-event reports, operational recaps, and guest feedback analyses.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, elevate service standards, and drive future hospitality innovation.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Event Management, Business, Marketing, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
  • 5+ years of experience in luxury hospitality, premium events, luxury hotels, private clubs, fine dining, destination resorts, or other high-end lifestyle environments.
  • Proven experience developing and executing premium hospitality experiences and products from concept through implementation.
  • Strong understanding of hospitality operations, including premium food amp; beverage service, culinary programming, back-of-house operations, and event execution.
  • Demonstrated project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines, and execute complex events with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively across cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Proven ability to manage high-profile clientele while maintaining exceptional service standards in fast-paced, high-touch environments.
  • Creative, solutions-oriented mindset with a passion for hospitality, guest experience, and continuous innovation.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify opportunities for operational improvements and enhance the guest experience.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, based on event needs.
Featured Benefits:
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • Life insurance (including voluntary coverage for spouses and children)
  • Long term disability insurance
  • Ticket benefits for events including Miami Dolphins games, the Formula 1 Crypto.com Miami Grand Prix, and the Miami Open
  • Employee gym, subsidized lunch program, and discounts on a variety of products and services
  • 401k, Paid time off (PTO), and company holidays
