Job Title: Restaurant Manager
Location: Stadium Grill, Mattoon, IL
Department: Management
Reports to: General Manager
Job Summary:
Stadium Grill is seeking a dynamic and experienced Restaurant Manager to lead our team and ensure the smooth and efficient operation of our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership skills, a passion for hospitality, and a strong background in restaurant management. As a Restaurant Manager, you will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and ensure that customers have an exceptional dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee all aspects of restaurant operations, including front of house, back of house, and bar.
  • Lead, train, and motivate staff to provide excellent customer service and adhere to company standards.
  • Ensure that all food and beverage items meet quality standards and are prepared and served on time.
  • Monitor and manage inventory levels, ordering supplies as needed to maintain stock.
  • Handle customer complaints and resolve issues to ensure guest satisfaction.
  • Ensure that all health and safety regulations, including food safety, sanitation, and alcohol policies, are followed.
  • Develop and implement staff schedules to ensure adequate coverage for shifts.
  • Manage labor costs and optimize staff efficiency.
  • Conduct regular staff meetings to communicate company policies, expectations, and updates.
  • Handle cash management, including balancing registers, handling deposits, and managing daily sales reports.
  • Ensure the restaurant environment is clean, safe, and welcoming at all times.
  • Track and analyze restaurant performance, including sales, customer feedback, and operational efficiency, and make improvements as needed.
  • Work closely with the General Manager to achieve financial goals, increase profitability, and ensure consistent service quality.
  • Maintain positive relationships with vendors, suppliers, and contractors.
  • Perform other duties as assigned by the General Manager.
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience in restaurant management or a supervisory role in the foodservice industry.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
