Match Presentation & Production Lead
Location: Richardson, TX - In-Office / Field-Based
Department: Operations
Position Type: Full-Time
Position Summary
The Match Presentation & Production Lead is responsible for the planning, preparation, coordination, and live execution of Atlético Dallas & Dallas Trinity FC match presentation for all home matches.
Leading into each match, this role builds and prepares the show by developing production scripts and timelines, coordinating stadium content, collecting creative and sponsor assets, coordinating match presentation participants, and managing applicable broadcast and league production deliverables.
On matchday, this position serves as the club's Red Hat / Field Producer, executing the finalized production plan, calling production cues, coordinating field-level timing, and ensuring all match presentation elements are delivered according to the run of show.
Primary Responsibilities
Match Presentation Planning
• Develop and maintain the production script and run of show for each Atlético Dallas & Dallas Trinity FC home match.
• Build production timelines incorporating PA announcements, video and graphic cues, sponsor elements, national anthem, special guests, and planned on-field programming.
• Write and coordinate PA announcements and emcee scripts as needed.
• Coordinate player walkouts, pre-match ceremonies, halftime elements, special presentations, and other planned match presentation moments.
• Coordinate national anthem performers and additional match presentation participants when applicable.
• Establish production deadlines and ensure all elements are finalized ahead of matchday.
Stadium Content & Production Assets
• Collect approved matchday creative and production assets from Creative, Marketing, Partnerships, and other internal departments.
• Organize content required for stadium video boards, ribbon boards, perimeter LED displays, and other production platforms.
• Coordinate delivery of approved video board and ribbon board assets to Cotton Bowl production personnel responsible for uploading and displaying content.
• Coordinate perimeter LED content and schedules with the club's third-party LED provider.
• Maintain organized production folders containing scripts, graphics, videos, sponsor assets, and other matchday production materials.
• Track asset deadlines and follow up with internal departments on outstanding content.
• Confirm venue personnel and production partners have received required assets ahead of matchday.
Sponsor, Broadcast & League Coordination
• Work with Corporate Partnerships to incorporate approved sponsor inventory into match presentation.
• Coordinate sponsor PA reads, commercials, graphics, videos, LED content, and other approved production elements.
• Ensure sponsor obligations are appropriately incorporated into the production script and run of show.
• Coordinate required home-match broadcast assets and production deliverables.
• Submit applicable commercial inventory and clock-wrap content through designated broadcast platforms.
• Support league-required production submissions and annual requirements in coordination with Operations.
• Track applicable production, broadcast, and league deadlines.
Match Day -1 Production Readiness
• Finalize the production script and match presentation timeline.
• Confirm required video, graphic, sponsor, and entertainment assets have been delivered to the appropriate production partners.
• Coordinate final production needs with Cotton Bowl production personnel and third-party vendors.
• Coordinate starting XI and formation graphic requirements.
• Confirm performers and match presentation participants have received arrival, staging, and timing information.
• Identify and resolve outstanding production needs prior to matchday.
Matchday - Red Hat / Field Producer
• Serve as Atlético Dallas' Red Hat / Field Producer for home matches.
• Execute the finalized production script and match presentation timeline.
• Call production cues and applicable minute warnings throughout the match.
• Coordinate live timing of video, audio, PA, graphics, and other production elements.
• Coordinate player walkouts, national anthem, ceremonies, halftime elements, special presentations, and other scheduled on-field activities.
• Ensure performers, special guests, and on-field participants are staged and prepared for their cues.
• Manage on-field emcee timing and movement when applicable.
• Maintain communication with the production booth/control room, PA announcer, venue production personnel, match personnel, and appropriate Atlético Dallas staff.
• Adjust production timing in real time based on match conditions, delays, or other changes.
• Support timely kickoff of each half in accordance with applicable league requirements.
Post-Match Production
• Support production-related match recaps and reporting.
• Document production issues and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Maintain final scripts and production documentation for future reference.
• Follow up with appropriate production partners on outstanding post-match needs.
Qualifications
• Experience in sports production, game presentation, field production, live events, broadcast, or a related field.
• Previous Red Hat, field producer, show caller, or comparable live production experience strongly preferred.
• Professional soccer or professional sports experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of live-event production, match timing, production scripts, stadium video boards, LED displays, and audio.
• Strong written communication, organizational, and project management skills.
• Ability to develop detailed production plans and execute those plans in a live environment.
• Ability to coordinate multiple internal departments, venue personnel, vendors, and production partners.
• Excellent communication and decision-making skills in high-pressure live environments.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, holidays, and Atlético Dallas home matches as required.
• Ability to pass background check.
