Job description

Corewell Health South is offering an excellent opportunity to join our group of cardiovascular specialists at Lakeland Heart & Vascular. We are recruiting a full-time Interventional Cardiologist to join our team!  

Group includes five interventional cardiologists, four non-invasive, and two electrophysiologists. Teams also includes the support of nine advanced practice providers. Providers have potential to cover 2 office locations.

Competitive compensation package includes generous signing bonus, initial salary guarantee, and the opportunity to bonus based on productivity. Dedicated rounding rotations in St. Joseph. Access to 24/7 hospitalist and intensivist programs. Epic EHR.  

Procedures performed in St. Joseph at Corewell Health South, in our beautiful new state-of-the-art Surgery Suite, Cath Labs, and Hanson Heart Center. This includes the opportunity to perform TEE and cardioversion.

Qualifications

  • Required Doctorate Graduate of approved Medical College

  • 2 years of relevant experience Clinical experience Preferred

  • LIC-Physician (MD) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required Or

  • LIC-Osteopathic Physician (DO) - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-DEA Registration - STATE_MI State of Michigan Upon Hire required

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - AHA American Heart Association 90 Days required Or

  • CRT-Basic Life Support (BLS) - ARC American Red Cross 90 Days required

  • CRT-Adv Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred Or

  • CRT-Pediatric Adv Life Support (PALS) - AHA American Heart Association depending on age-appropriateness of patient population Upon Hire preferred
