Job description

Henry Ford St. John Children’s Hospitalis seeking a full-timePediatric Neurologist to join our growing Pediatric Subspecialty Division. The St. John Children’s Hospital is located on the Henry Ford St. John Hospital and Medical Center campus inDetroit, MI. 

This is anemployed positionconsisting of approximately90% dedicated clinical timeand10% teaching and academic timewithPediatric Residents and Medical Students. 

The position includes a mix ofoutpatient consultations and longitudinal neurology care as well asshared inpatient consult coverageon a rotational basis. The division manages a wide range of neurologic conditions.

You will join acollaborative, multidisciplinary teamconsisting of Pediatric Neurologist, and Pediatric Nurses, all supporting the comprehensive care of pediatric patients. Theoutpatient clinic is open Monday–Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm. 

Opportunities forclinical research, quality improvement, and academic scholarshipare available and encouraged. Faculty appointment through an affiliated medical school is available for qualified candidates. 

This is anemployed positionoffering acomprehensive and competitive benefit package. Henry Ford St. John Hospital is anon-profit healthcare organizationand qualifies forPublic Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF). 

    • Completion of anaccredited Pediatric ResidencyandPediatric Neurology Fellowshipprogram.
    • Board certified or board eligible in Pediatric Neurology.
    • Demonstrated interest or experience inresident and medical student teachingis highly desirable.
    • Interest or experience inclinical research, QI projects, or subspecialty program developmentis a plus.
