EMPLOYER PROFILE
Since 1996, Mountain West Anesthesia (MWA) has served as one of the foremost providers of
quality comprehensive anesthesia care for communities throughout Utah. We are an independent
anesthesia services company that is owned and operated by physician Anesthesiologists. Under
our leadership, surgical and procedural services operate safely and efficiently. We put evidence
first and commit to high-quality patient care that is as individualized as the patients we care for.
While we dedicate abundant resources to quality and cost data metrics, we are not wasting
money on the bureaucracy of the medical industrial complex and we are not profiteering off of
the sickness or health of our community. Independence means we can take the initiative to foster
creativity, develop solutions and motivate each other to greater heights of patient care. Our
patients consistently rate the quality of our physicians and patient care as excellent.
MWA physicians spend their entire careers with the company because the independent practice is
so fulfilling and the physician-owned income cannot be beat. Utah is a wonderful state for a
variety of interests to enjoy a fantastic quality of life. Salt Lake City and the surrounding
metropolitan areas are host to world-class universities, arts, music, and business. Utah offers
excellent recreation in the form of hiking, biking, powder skiing, rafting, and OHV trails. Salt
Lake City is the world headquarters for the Church of Jesus Christ and Latter-day Saints.
