Family Pathways Food Access is currently hiring a Food Shelf Coordinator to be responsible for the coordination and management of the food shelf and resources that are available to all clients, while ensuring equitable, healthy food access for eligible and priority populations.


Who You Are:

  • Demonstrate a passion for working with diverse and/or low-income populations, including those experiencing food insecurity, homelessness, domestic violence, addiction, and/or mental illness.
  • A desire to work as a member of a team and promote Family Pathways Guiding Principles.
  • Ability to work with sensitive and/or confidential matters.
  • Must have a dependable vehicle, a current and valid driver's license, and proof of current insurance.
  • Must have an acceptable Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) and a passing criminal background check.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision and close attention to detail.
  • Ability to plan, direct, and review the work of staff and/or volunteers with confidence and clarity.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and client database software.
  • Organized with the ability to work well under pressure, managing multiple projects with deadlines, excellent problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to sit for extended periods of time, close vision, and the ability to adjust focus.
  • Ability to occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally requested to climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
