SSM Health Dean Medical Group, in Madison, WI, is actively recruiting for a full-time (1.0 FTE) Orthopedic Surgery Physician Assistant to be based at its South Madison Campus.

Opportunity Highlights:

  • Variable weekly schedule with some potential for outreach
  • Practice mix of 75% trauma and 25% hand
  • Position will vary based on department needs but will include inpatient care, outpatient clinic, and OR responsibilities
  • Anticipated 1:17 call schedule for weekdays and weekends as well as holidays
  • Opportunity to work independently alongside the Orthopedic Surgeons
  • Hospital Privileges at SSM Health St. Mary's Madison and at our Sun Prairie Ambulatory Surgery Center

Requirements:

  • Prefer post-education experience in orthopedic surgery but will review new graduates with rotations in orthopedic surgery
  • First-assist OR experience
  • Master's degree in Physician Assistant
  • Wisconsin certified physician assistant
  • Ability to obtain a Wisconsin physician assistant license and Wisconsin DEA
