We are looking for energetic, enthusiastic people with excellent customer service skills and a conscientious work ethic to join our gift shop team at the St. Augustine Lighthouse.

Museum Associates are responsible for supporting and delivering an unforgettable experience for visitors. Working at the lighthouse is rarely dull, as a museum associate you will train and work in multiple areas including all gift shop operations, leading after-hours tours and programs, helping visitors with memberships and bricks, and sharing the history of the Lighthouse.

Your work in the gift shop plays an important role in the day-to-day support of our non-profit Museum. You are the first and last person a visitor sees on our site.

Responsibilities:

  • Create an amazing experience for all guests.
  • Support day-to-day gift shop functions including, processing ticket and merchandise sales, stocking, pricing, etc.
  • Helping people with the membership and brick process.
  • Interact with visitors on path, porch, tower and base.
  • Engage visitors by leading after-hours tours and programs.
