Schedule: Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm MST

Position Overview

As a Payment Operation Analyst, you will partner directly with Team Leads and operational management to measure, optimize, and elevate performance across assigned PayOps groups (such as e-Payments or Payment Corrections). You will serve as the primary operational detective-building dynamic dashboards, analyzing key business metrics, and uncovering the "why" behind team performance to deliver actionable solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Reporting & Visualizations: Collaborate with leadership to design, build, and maintain high-impact reports and visualizations tracking all operational aspects of your assigned PayOps group.

  • Actionable Insights: Dig deep into team metrics when performance deviates from targets to uncover root causes, deliver actionable insights, and guide strategy.

  • Operational Reporting: Perform daily data collection to populate operational dashboards, supplying team leads and executive management with daily, weekly, and monthly performance tracking.

  • Process & Reporting Innovation: Proactively identify gaps in current reporting and implement creative solutions if current metrics are not driving desired outcomes.

  • Collaboration & Leadership: Train and mentor fellow team members on daily tasks, cross-train as an operational backup, and help partner leadership achieve strategic goals.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Technical Skills: Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel, Google Workspace, and SSRS report pulling required. Exposure to SSRS report building, Excel macros/VBA, or PowerBI is highly preferred.

  • Data Mastery: Exceptional talent for identifying/correcting data discrepancies and combining multiple complex datasets to build comprehensive insights.
