SSRS Developers work closely with databases and use T-SQL queries, stored procedures, and report design tools to deliver custom reporting solutions that meet business requirements. Their role often includes troubleshooting report issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring data accuracy.

What will replace SSRS?

For SSRS developers, Power BI and other modern reporting tools are increasingly replacing traditional SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) due to their advanced visualization capabilities and cloud integration. Skills in data modeling, DAX, and cloud platforms like Azure are also valuable for adapting to evolving reporting environments.
