Job description

Position Summary
The Accounting Implementation Specialist plays a critical role in delivering successful software implementations for SSI clients. This position manages all phases of the implementation process—from discovery and planning to training and post-deployment support—while fostering strong client relationships and driving operational efficiency. The role requires collaboration with internal teams and clients to ensure seamless adoption of SSI solutions. This is a full-time salaried position and requires 20-40% travel depending upon project needs.
Key Responsibilities
Implementation amp; Project Management
  • Lead end-to-end implementation projects, including planning, timeline creation, and execution.
  • Conduct business process reviews to identify gaps and recommend improvements.
  • Document scope of work, workflows, and project deliverables.
Client Training amp; Support
  • Develop and deliver tailored training programs to ensure smooth adoption of SSI software.
  • Provide proactive guidance on software updates and enhancements.
  • Create and maintain client-facing documentation and training materials.
Collaboration amp; Communication
  • Partner with internal teams and clients to align goals and deliverables.
  • Communicate effectively with all stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle.
Continuous Improvement
  • Monitor client processes post-implementation to identify optimization opportunities.
  • Participate in special projects such as mergers, conversions, and business process reviews.
Experience / Skills Required
Required:
  • Strong foundation in accounting principles and ability to apply them in diverse client environments.
