Summary

SRP is looking for a motivated individual to be part of the Project Management team supporting the Customer Modernization SAP implementation project. This internship provides an opportunity to gain experience on a large project implementing SAP's on-prem and cloud ERP applications.

The internship is in Tempe, AZ and will be a mix of in-person and remote based work.

The student intern will work daily scheduled hours based on the department’s needs, with a minimum requirement of 15 hours and up to 40 hours per week maximum.

  • Assist with scheduling, data entry, document preparation, filing, or other day-to-day administrative tasks. 

  • Gather information, compile data, prepare reports, and help identify trends or opportunities to support departmental goals. 

  • Support ongoing projects by coordinating tasks, tracking progress, and helping team members meet deadlines. 

  • Attend meetings, take notes, contribute ideas, and work collaboratively with employees across various departments. 

  • Engage in learning opportunities, complete assigned projects, and present findings or recommendations to leadership as appropriate. 

Education
A high school diploma, GED, or equivalent is required.
Additional Requirements and Qualifications

Preferred Experience and Skills

  • Degree major, studies or interest in Business, Information Technology, and/or Data Analytics. Have a general passion for working in a fast paced software implementation environment.
  • Ability to analyze, interpret and understand business processes
  • Interact with internal stakeholders and support business partners while participating in projects that directly impact business value
  • Extensive research/analytical skills (ability to read substantial reports and summarize)
  • Ability to work with large sets of data and interpret trends, changes, etc.
  • Time management skills (balance multiple projects) and ability to self-manage

  • Problem solving skills and systems thinking
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
  • Have excellent verbal and written communication skills

Hybrid Workplace

SRP currently offers a hybrid workplace, which allows employees whose jobs can be performed remotely, and who have sufficient technical capability, to telework up to three days per week. Although teleworking is available, all employees must live and work in Arizona.
