Job description

Job Title: SRM Supervisor
Pay Type: Hourly Non-Exempt
Status Type: Full-time
Position Summary
The SRM Supervisor supports large-loss fire, water, mold, and other restoration projects nationwide by coordinating field activities, directing assigned technicians and temporary labor, maintaining jobsite safety and quality standards, and performing restoration work as needed. This position works closely with the Assistant Project Manager (APM) and Project Manager (PM) to ensure assigned work is completed safely, accurately, and on schedule.
Responsibilities
  • Arrive at assigned jobsites on time, in the approved SRM uniform and required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and remain prepared to perform field work throughout the shift.
  • Meet with the APM or PM to review daily assignments, priorities, safety concerns, and project expectations.
  • Direct and coordinate the work of assigned technicians, temporary laborers, and other field personnel; monitor productivity and quality of work.
  • Promote and enforce compliance with company safety practices, jobsite requirements, and proper use of PPE.
  • Inspect assigned work areas for existing or potential hazards, complete required Field Risk Assessments (FRA), communicate hazards to personnel entering the work area, and promptly escalate significant concerns to the APM or PM.
  • Organize and prepare work areas, supplies, tools, and equipment to support efficient project operations.
  • Monitor restoration equipment in assigned work areas and promptly report equipment malfunctions or other operational issues through established processes.
  • Document project progress through photographs, field paperwork, and other required records; upload and maintain documentation in designated company systems and folders.
  • Perform and oversee content and damaged-content inventories, moisture mapping and monitoring, water extraction, removal of damaged building materials, containment setup, and setup and monitoring of remediation equipment.
  • Track and scan equipment and supplies using the company’s current tracking system and assist with basic maintenance of restoration equipment as needed.
  • Perform basic selective demolition and other physical restoration duties when required to support project completion.
  • Maintain clean, safe, and organized work areas and ensure assigned company vehicles are maintained in appropriate condition at the end of each shift.
  • Communicate project status, problems, resource needs, safety concerns, and other significant issues to the APM or PM in a timely manner.
  • Complete required daily paperwork, time records, expense reports, and other project documentation accurately and timely.
  • Provide professional, responsive service to customers and represent the Company in accordance with established service and conduct standards.
  • Perform other duties consistent with the position as assigned.
Skills amp; Qualifications
Required
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to meet Company driving requirements.
  • Working knowledge of restoration operations, equipment, moisture mapping and monitoring, containment, water extraction, and basic selective demolition.
  • Ability to lead and coordinate field crews, including technicians and temporary labor, and to maintain quality, productivity, and safety expectations.
  • Ability to recognize jobsite hazards, communicate safety concerns, and consistently enforce required PPE and safety practices.
  • Ability to complete field documentation accurately and use common business and file-sharing applications, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Google Drive or similar systems.
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, time-management, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, adapt to rapidly changing project needs, and work independently with limited direction.
  • Ability to work collaboratively and professionally with customers, coworkers, project leadership, vendors, and other jobsite personnel.
  • Ability to satisfy applicable pre-employment and job-related requirements, including background screening and drug testing, in accordance with Company policy and applicable law.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain medical clearance and fit testing for required respirator use.
Preferred
  • OSHA 30-Hour Construction certification, or ability to obtain and maintain as required.
  • IICRC certification, or ability to obtain and maintain as required.
  • Forklift and/or other lift-equipment certification.
  • Ability to meet applicable DOT requirements, including completion of a DOT physical, when assigned to operate a vehicle or perform duties subject to DOT regulations.
Work Environment
Work is performed primarily at active restoration and disaster-recovery jobsites throughout the United States. Conditions vary by project and may include indoor and outdoor work, construction
and demolition environments, exposure to dust, debris, cleaning products or chemicals, wet or damaged structures, noise, and temperatures ranging from extreme heat to extreme cold. Work may
be performed during rain, snow, or other adverse weather conditions. Required PPE must be worn based on jobsite conditions and assigned work.
Work Schedule amp; Travel Requirements
This position requires extensive nationwide travel as an essential function of the role and may require travel 200 or more days per year. Assignments may require travel by commercial aircraft and/or extended driving and may require remaining at project locations for extended periods.
Work schedules are driven by project, customer, and emergency-response needs and may vary significantly. Associates must be able to work a flexible schedule that may include early mornings, evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, extended shifts, and consecutive workdays. During active large-loss or emergency-response projects, shifts may exceed 12 hours and assignments may continue for multiple days or weeks. Associates must be able to respond to changing project needs and deployment requirements, subject to applicable law and Company policy.
Physical Demands
The physical demands of this position include prolonged standing and walking; frequent bending, reaching, grasping, pushing, pulling, lifting, carrying, climbing, and repetitive use of the hands and arms. The associate must be able to climb ladders, work at elevated or ceiling heights, work in tight or confined work areas, and perform physical restoration and selective-demolition activities.
The associate must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly and may occasionally be required to move items weighing up to 100 pounds with assistance or appropriate equipment. The position also requires the ability to wear required PPE, including a half-face or full-face respirator when necessary, and to complete applicable medical evaluation and fit-testing requirements.
