Job description

Window Engineers

Background: Lifecycle work, staffing to specific projects where they have older versions of x86 systems that they need to upgrade. Build out new in data center or Azure and doing all the engineering and post configuration to make sure it runs. No architecture work but senior engineering- how things connect to things at a higher level. Run operational things. Things are frozen on platforms they need to get off of because the operating systems have a security baseline thatโ€™s out today.

Qualified candidates: Windows servers platforms, Linux in general, distribution (RedHat), more than general skills in cloud computing preferably Azure, VMware, fairly good knowledge in installing Bare Metal, awareness of deployments using CICD delivery for cloud, data center on VMware platforms, PowerShell or template based deployments, understanding Azure services and platform services, IAAS- catch on and understand how to align on current standard on how to deploy and manage those. Screen, presented to leadership to be added to talent pool, then will open work order.

Required Skills: Windows Additional Skills: Systems Engineer. This is a high priority requisition.
