The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge in managing, configuring, and supporting Windows server environments to ensure optimal performance, security, and reliability. In this role, you will manage overseeing complex infrastructure projects, leading initiatives to enhance system efficiency, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to align technology solutions with business goals. Responsibilities:

  • Manage and support Windows Server environments, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
  • Administer Active Directory services, including user and group management, Group Policy Objects, and domain services.
  • Develop and support automation scripts to automate routine tasks and improve system efficiency.
  • Perform patching, vulnerability management, and system hardening initiatives.
  • Monitor system performance and implement necessary upgrades or patches to ensure security and reliability.
  • Collaborate with network, security, and application teams to support integrated infrastructure solutions.
  • Lead and participate in projects related to server migrations, virtualization, and infrastructure enhancements.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to junior administrators and support staff.
  • Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards about system security and data protection.

Requirements:

  • At least a minimum of 5 years of experience in Windows Server administration in an enterprise environment.
  • Proficiency with Active Directory, Group Policy management, and Windows security best practices.
  • Advanced experience with Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Familiar and able to implement Zero Trust (cyber security framework) principles, conditional access, and endpoint detection and response (EDR).
  • Drive automation using PowerShell, and infrastructure-as-code principles.
  • Evaluate and integrate AI-powered tools for monitoring, incident response, log correlation, and capacity planning.
  • Lead disaster recovery planning, business continuity testing, and system resilience initiatives.
  • Produce engineering documentation and runbooks and audit-ready evidence documents.
  • Participate inOn-Callrotation.
  • Working knowledge of Citrix XenApp and NetScaler Infrastructure.
  • Strong communication and people skills to collaborate with technical teams and stakeholders.
  • Familiarity with SIEM platforms and AI-driven threat detection.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.

The expected base salary ranges from $111k-$155k. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, and, where applicable, certifications and licenses obtained. Market and organizational factors are also considered. In addition to salary and a generous employee benefits package, successful candidates are eligible to receive a discretionary bonus.
