Als Test Automation Engineer maak je deel uit van een multidisciplinair team binnen de organisatie om kwalitatieve applicaties te ontwikkelen in een snel veranderend IT-landschap. Je draagt bij aan innovaties die miljoenen klanten ten goede komen en zorgt voor product- en codekwaliteit van begin tot eind via testautomatisering.

Verantwoordelijkheden
  • Eigenaar van kwaliteit end-to-end: van de eerste regel code tot de uiteindelijke deployment, je bewaakt de standaarden zodat elke feature aan de eisen voldoet voordat deze bij de klant komt.
  • Ontwerp slimme tests: je volgt niet alleen testplannen, maar bepaalt ook scope en prioriteiten om de belangrijkste zaken te vangen.
  • Automatiseer met doel: schrijven van scripts in Java (Selenium, TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber) om het team te ontlasten van repetitief werk en de levering te versnellen.
  • Vertaal testresultaten naar acties: je deelt resultaten duidelijk zodat het team snel kan handelen.
  • Los problemen op: bij bugs of bottlenecks duik je dieper om ze te verhelpen of nauwkeurig te rapporteren aan het development team.
  • Brug tussen testen en ontwikkeling: je werkt nauw samen met ontwikkelaars om te bepalen wat als volgende geautomatiseerd wordt.
  • Onderhoud CI/CD pipelines: je automatisering is geïntegreerd in de pipeline zodat elke build sneller groen licht krijgt.
  • Beheer testomgevingen: debuggen van scripts en applicaties in verschillende omgevingen tot ze foutloos draaien.
  • Bouw duurzame frameworks: je ontwerpt systemen die schaalbaar, betrouwbaar en toekomstbestendig zijn.
  • Documenteer professioneel: je notities over processen en resultaten zijn een belangrijke bron voor het team.
  • Hanteer ISTQB standaarden: je brengt industrienormen mee voor kwaliteit in testen.
  • Minimaal 6 jaar relevante ervaring.
  • Technische kennis van Selenium-Java en BDD frameworks (Cucumber/Gherkin).
  • Ervaring met het creëren van testplannen, testcases en testdata voor functionele en niet-functionele testen, inclusief real en virtuele devices.
  • Uitvoeren van geautomatiseerde tests, analyseren van resultaten en rapporteren van defecten met gedetailleerde logs en replicatiestappen.
  • Integratie van testautomatisering in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Samenwerking met development team om automatiseringsmogelijkheden te identificeren en prioriteren.
  • Debuggen en troubleshooten van automatiseringsscripts en applicaties in diverse omgevingen.
  • Zorgen voor schaalbaarheid, betrouwbaarheid en effectiviteit van testautomatiseringsframeworks en tools.
  • Documentatie bijhouden van frameworks, processen en resultaten.
  • Kennis van software teststandaarden (ISTQB).
  • Technische vaardigheden: Selenium, Java, Git, Jenkins, Maven, BDD, Gherkin, TestNG. Nice to have: Perfecto, API Automation.
  • Praktische ervaring met Scrum is een plus.
  • Actief kennis delen met andere ontwikkelaars en voorstellen doen voor verbeteringen binnen het team.
  • Gemakkelijk aanpassen en verbinden met nieuwe collega’s.
  • Samenwerking en feedback zijn kernwaarden.
  • Durf om vereisten te challengen op basis van expertise.

Goede kennis van het Engels is vereist. Kennis van Frans of Nederlands is een pluspunt.
