The Consumer Technology (CT) Auto Finance Platform organization is seeking a Senior Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to support our Servicing and Recovery product area. This role is responsible for ensuring the reliability, availability, and performance of critical production services through strong ownership of production operations, observability, incident response, and change management practices. In addition, you will help lead the adoption of Wells Fargo's AI-enabled tools and capabilities, identifying innovative ways to enhance operational support, streamline processes, and improve production outcomes. This position offers the opportunity to work at the intersection of reliability engineering, automation, and emerging technologies while partnering with teams across the organization to drive continuous improvement.

In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff


Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • 3+ years experience troubleshooting and systems administration experience across multiple OS Platforms: Solaris, AIX, PKS, Kubernetes, OpenShift, Linux, Windows, VMware

  • 3+ years experience with web platforms: Tomcat, Weblogic, WebSphere

  • 2+ years experience with database technologies: SQL Server, Cassandra DB, Oracle, Postgres SQL, MongoDB

  • 3+ years experience with Observability tools: AppDynamics, Prometheus, Grafana

  • 3+ years experience using logging/monitoring tools: Elastic, Splunk, Netcool

  • 4+ years of software development experience with languages such as Perl, Python, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, JSON, Angular, NodeJS

  • 3+ years experience with Automation Scripting: Bash, Shell, Ansible, Terraform, Azure DevOps

  • 3+ year of experience with Cloud technologies: Pivotal, Azure, AWS, GCP, etc

  • 3+ years Incident Management experience

  • 2+ years experience using JIRA.

  • 1+ years experience with AIOPs tools: BigPanda etc

  • Experience with one or more CI/CD Pipeline (Github, Jenkins) and

  • Automation tools: Gradle, Maven, Git, Ansible, Puppet

  • Experience with AI Tools, Agentic Agents, Skills, MCP Servers, etc

Pay Range

Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to demonstrated examples of prior performance, skills, experience, or work location. Employees may also be eligible for incentive opportunities.

$100,000.00 - $163,000.00
