Key Responsibilities 

  • Design, simulate, prototype, and validate antennas for vehicular, infrastructure, and smart city applications (e.g., LTE, 5G, VHF/UHF, GNSS, LMR, Wi-Fi)
  • Optimize antenna performance for challenging environments (e.g., multi-band, low-profile, vehicular mount)
  • Work with mechanical and other antenna engineers to ensure proper antenna integration
  • Perform testing and validation in anechoic chambers and field environments
  • Support certification and compliance processes (FCC, PTCRB, FirstNet, etc.)
  • Participate in technical reviews, customer meetings, and design discussions
  • Document design processes, test results, and technical reports

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, RF Engineering, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in antenna design and RF product development
  • Proficient in simulation tools (e.g., CST, HFSS) and measurement equipment (e.g., VNA, spectrum analyzer, chamber systems)
  • Strong knowledge of antenna types: monopole, dipole, patch, helical, PCB/FPC, stamp metal, and array-based designs
  • Experience with vehicular or infrastructure antenna products is highly preferred
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and certifications for public safety and transportation networks
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to remain in a stationary position (seated/standing) for extended periods
