What we're looking for:

As a Senior Project Manager, you'll lead the delivery of complex, high-profile commercial construction projects from preconstruction through closeout. You'll serve as a trusted advisor to clients, guide high-performing teams, and drive outcomes that reflect Marker's commitment to quality, safety, and long-term partnerships.

Core Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership and direction for all phases of assigned projects - planning, preconstruction, execution, and closeout.
  • Manage project budgets, schedules, and change management to ensure financial and operational success.
  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for clients, maintaining positive relationships and addressing project challenges.
  • Lead, develop, and mentor project teams, fostering collaboration, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Oversee job cost reports and provide accurate monthly cost projections.
  • Review and negotiate contracts, subcontracts, and scopes of work for clarity and alignment with project goals.
  • Support preconstruction efforts by reviewing estimates and providing input on project approach and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with safety protocols, quality standards, and company procedures.
  • Contribute to business development by nurturing long-term client relationships and identifying future work opportunities.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Proven success managing complex commercial construction projects.
  • Strong understanding of construction means, methods, and best practices.
  • Skilled in project management software including MS Office, Procore, and Primavera P6.
  • Exceptional organizational, communication, and leadership abilities.
  • Ability to mentor and develop team members while fostering a collaborative environment.
  • Strong analytical skills and the ability to make effective decisions under pressure.
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 8 years of project management experience with direct supervisory responsibilities.
