What we need:
The Manager, Talent Acquisition - University Relations manages a team responsible for recruiting top early career talent across the organization, while directly overseeing the operations and program management of Mohawk's award-winning internship program.
What you'll do:
  • Lead, develop, and maintain a diverse and talented pipeline for early careers talent.
  • Utilize a variety of sourcing channels and recruitment techniques to identify and attract qualified early career candidates, including campus recruiting, job boards, social media, networking, and employee referrals.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with Higher Ed institutions and vendors to support early careers talent acquisition efforts.
  • Implement employer branding initiatives and recruitment marketing campaigns to enhance the organization's visibility and attract top talent across key campuses and programs.
  • Lead and manage a small team of TA professionals focused on early careers, providing guidance, support, and mentorship to ensure high performance and productivity.
  • Monitor early careers recruiting progress and update senior leaders on trends, challenges, and changes. .
  • Partner with internal departments to determine early career hiring needs and recruiting strategies.
  • Conduct interviews to identify strong candidates.
  • Train hiring managers, recruiters, and HR staff on early careers recruiting, campus partners, and early careers organizations, including attending and planning events.
  • Establish Mohawk as the employer of choice with focus of early career talent and diversity outreach at target schools and programs.
  • Ensure that all applicants are in the tracking system for EEO/AA tracking.
  • Identify and implement improvements that could be made to the programs and processes.
  • Perform other duties as needed.

What you have:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 6-8 years of relevant experience or equivalent education and/or experience.
  • 1-3 years of management experience.

  • Requires specialized depth and/or breadth of expertise in early-careers recruitment and program management.
  • Focused on and responsible for their team's productivity and collective impact.
  • Excellent communication, problem solving, and organizational skills.
  • Able to multitask, prioritize, delegate, and manage time effectively.
  • High level of integrity and discretion in handling sensitive and confidential data.
  • Proficient using Microsoft Office Suite products.
  • Flexible attitude, adaptable to change, team player, and able to handle multiple projects at once.
  • High degree of professionalism, judgment, maturity, and resourcefulness in the absence of formalized guidelines and procedures.

What else?
  • Frequent travel is required - approximately 30% with seasonal travel being very heavy.
  • This role will be responsible for direct reports.
