LOCATION: This position will oversee locations in Massachusetts and Connecticut. Travel between assigned sites is required.

ABOUT THE ROLE

Baroco Corporation is seeking an experienced and mission-driven Senior Program Director to oversee multiple programs and provide leadership, guidance, and supervision to Program Directors. This role is essential to ensuring high-quality services, strong teams, and compliance with all regulatory standards.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Leadership & Oversight

  • Supervise, coach, and support Program Directors across assigned programs to ensure effective leadership and operations.
  • Serve as Acting Program Director as needed to ensure continuity of leadership and program operations.

Program Quality & Compliance

  • Monitor and maintain program quality through observations, audits, and collaboration with program staff.
  • Ensure compliance with all agency policies, licensing requirements, safety standards, and regulatory expectations.
  • Conduct investigations as needed to maintain program quality and compliance

Staff Development & Performance Management

  • Support recruitment, onboarding, training, performance evaluations, and performance management of staff.
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and corrective action as needed.

Training, Special Projects

  • Deliver training, and lead special projects as assigned.

Emergency Response & Continuous Improvement

  • Respond to program, staffing, or client emergencies as required.
  • Promote continuous improvement by identifying opportunities for innovation and implementing best practices across programs.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • High School Diploma required.
  • Bachelor’s degree in a related field strongly preferred.

Experience

  • Extensive experience in direct care and program supervision, preferably in human services or a related setting.
  • Demonstrated experience overseeing staff, programs, and operational compliance.

Skills & Requirements

  • Strong communication, leadership, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with individuals who may exhibit challenging behaviors.
  • Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and an acceptable driving record.

Working Conditions

  • Ability to travel between program locations as required.
  • Work performed primarily in indoor program environments with varying activity levels.
