This individual will report into our Product Management Team Lead and own several complex, cross-functional Customer Experience initiatives at once, driving each from research through launch and post-launch analysis with significant autonomy. <p><strong>Salary: </strong>$111,035 – $138,794 per year</p> <p><strong>Responsibilities</strong><strong>:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Provides strategic vision and leadership to our largest and most complex initiatives, resolving ambiguous, escalated, and cross-functional challenges with sound, independent judgment</li> <li>Leads comprehensive user and market research to inform product strategy, validating insights through data analysis and customer and stakeholder interviews</li> <li>Sets vision and strategic goals for complex projects, defines the experience architecture and desired outcomes across multiple user journeys, and adapts plans and documentation as business needs change</li> <li>Owns commercial outcomes for the customer experience — connecting the product roadmap to financial goals and margin, and balancing customer acquisition cost against lifetime value</li> <li>Drives conversion optimization across the funnel, including checkout friction, search relevance, and personalization</li> <li>Translates Amplitude (or similar) analytics, behavioral data, and continuous A/B test results into actionable roadmap decisions</li> <li>Partners with engineering on platform direction, including modern headless architecture, robust APIs, and enterprise commerce capabilities</li> <li>Identifies and prioritizes opportunities to apply AI and machine learning — such as dynamic pricing, smart search, and recommendation engines</li> <li>Owns and oversees the product backlog, requirements, and user stories across multiple projects, and improves the team’s documentation and delivery practices</li> <li>Builds product documentation within JIRA and runs scrum ceremonies including sprint planning and sprint review</li> <li>Leads UAT planning and execution and is ultimately responsible for testing and approval of implementation, ensuring stable, scalable delivery ahead of high-traffic peak seasons</li> <li>Establishes project KPIs, develops A/B test and staged rollout plans, builds performance monitoring plans, and performs post-launch analysis to determine success and surface new opportunities</li> <li>Communicates complex insights and outcomes to senior stakeholders, mentors and trains junior product managers, and influences and improves work across departments</li> </ul> <p><strong>Requirements:</strong></p> <ul> <li><span data-contrast="auto">Bachelor's degree in Business, STEM, or a related field</span></li> <li>7+ years of product experience, with 5+ years serving in a similar role on a Product/Customer Experience Team</li> <li>2+ years of e-commerce industry experience</li> <li>A track record of independently leading large, complex, cross-functional initiatives end to end</li> <li>Strong data fluency, with the ability to turn Amplitude analytics, behavioral data, and A/B test results into roadmap decisions</li> <li>Experience defining and running A/B tests and experimentation (e.g., Amplitude) and establishing project KPIs and performance monitoring plans</li> <li>Experience with JIRA and Confluence, or equivalent tools, for documentation and scrum ceremonies</li> <li>Proven leadership and mentorship skills, with a tendency to invest in colleagues and team growth and improve the effectiveness of others</li> <li>Exceptional problem-solving skills and sound judgment on complex, ambiguous, and escalated decisions</li> <li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex insights to and influence senior stakeholders across departments</li> <li>The ability to multi-task, reprioritize, and actively manage project timelines and deliverables</li> <li>Exposure to applying AI/machine learning to commerce use cases (e.g., dynamic pricing, smart search, recommendations)</li> </ul> <p><strong><span data-contrast="auto">Preferred Qualifications:</span></strong></p> <ul> <li>Demonstrated ownership of commercial outcomes such as conversion, revenue, or P&amp;L</li> <li>Familiarity with modern e-commerce platform architecture, including headless architecture, APIs, and enterprise commerce engines</li> <li>Hands-on data querying with BigQuery or SQL</li> <li>Exposure to applying AI/machine learning to commerce use cases (e.g., dynamic pricing, smart search, recommendations)</li> <li>Experience with design and prototyping tools
