Description:

Amneal Pharmaceuticals LLC is seeking a Senior Payroll Analyst to lead and manage daily payroll operations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely processing. This role is crucial for the smooth functioning of the Human Resources department.


Essential Functions:

  • Oversee day-to-day payroll operations with ability to perform any and all payroll tasks/functions, including independently execute the full payroll cycle end-to-end for weekly and bi-weekly payrolls with more than 2,400 employees. Process multi-state payroll for employees in payroll and timekeeping systems. Reconcile payroll totals before and after each payroll run.
  • Manage payroll workflow, including all exception processing, and ensure deadlines are met. Coordinate payroll approvals and escalations. Manage off-cycle payrolls including bonuses, equity payments, and payroll adjustments and manual checks. Issue stop-payments and reissue checks when needed.
  • Review Payroll email box and act as escalation point for complex requests or issues. Collaborate with HR/Business Partners, Compensation Benefits, and Finance and other departments or teams to resolve payroll related issues.
  • Provide reporting for payroll data, including building and maintaining reports from ADP and UKG and using excel. Support workers' compensation and other regulatory reporting. Prepare payroll reports and assist with tax filings and year-end processes. Provide support and training/refreshers on UKG and time processing with HR and employees.
  • Review and audit payroll work including timesheets and transactions. Review reconciliations and resolve complex payroll issues. Review payroll variances and employee changes report.
  • Support internal and external audits requirements including SOX controls and testing. Provide audit documentation and/or certifications as needed. Conduct payroll audits including pre- and post-payroll reviews. Ensure compliance with payroll laws and internal controls.
  • Participate in system enhancements and process improvements for payroll, ADP and UKG. Partner with Finance, HRIS, and other departments on payroll-related initiatives.


Additional Responsibilities:

  • Acts as backup in absence of other payroll staff
  • Acts as backup in absence of the Sr Manager Payroll

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BA/BS) Finance, Business, Accounting, or related field OR equivalent hands-on payroll experience.

Experience:

  • Must have at least 5 years of Payroll experience.
  • May guide the work of others.

Specialized Knowledge:

  • Advanced knowledge of ADP (WFN) Work Force Now payroll system and processing.
  • Advanced working knowledge of UKG (Kronos) timekeeping system and processing.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $105,000 per year.  In addition, Amneal offers a short-term incentive opportunity, such as a bonus or performance-based award with this position within the first 12 months. Amneal ranges reflect the Company's good faith estimate of what Amneal reasonably believes that it will pay for said position at the time of the posting. Individual compensation will ultimately be determined based on a variety of relevant factors, including but not limited to, qualifications, experience, geographic location and other relevant skills.
