The Senior Payroll Analyst ensures accurate, timely payroll processing for 2,+ U.S. and Canadian team members while delivering exceptional customer service. This role leverages Workday expertise to manage multi-state payroll, resolve complex inquiries and support compliance across weekly and bi-weekly cycles.
What You'll Do:
โ€ข Process multi-state U.S. and Canadian payroll in Workday accurately and on time
โ€ข Review payroll outputs, analyze reports and make adjustments as needed
โ€ข Coordinate payroll funding for net pay, taxes and garnishments
โ€ข Manage off-cycle payments, timecard corrections and special payments
โ€ข Support year-end reporting (W-2s, T4s) and tax compliance activities
โ€ข Reconcile payroll data and partner with Accounting on variances and journal entries
โ€ข Handle post-payment activities including returns and unclaimed property filings
โ€ข Process Workers' Compensation claims and ensure regulatory compliance
โ€ข Investigate and resolve complex payroll issues under tight deadlines
โ€ข Train and mentor payroll associates; support Workday system updates and testing
