Job description

About the Role
The Manager of Multimedia Design & Content will own REE Medical's multimedia design function, producing high-quality video, motion graphics, photography, print, and digital assets that support every part of the marketing organization.
This role brings creative development and production capabilities in-house, with the goal of delivering agency-quality work at the speed and cost efficiency of dedicated in-house ownership. You will produce and oversee multimedia work across owned channels (social, web, email, events, and partnership support).
The ideal candidate is a senior multimedia designer who has worked at the intersection of strategy and production: someone who can take a creative brief and produce finished assets that meet brand standards, who is fluent across video, motion graphics, photography, print, and digital, and can work efficiently across multiple projects in a small marketing team.
Key Responsibilities
  • Multimedia design: Own development and production for REE Medical across video, motion graphics, photography, print, and digital assets, ensuring all output meets REE Medical brand standards and supports the broader content strategy.
  • Video Coordination: Lead production of long-form and short-form video content: brand storytelling, customer testimonials, educational content for veterans, social media video, and event and conference content.
  • Motion graphics: Produce animated explainers and short-form motion content for paid media, organic social, web, and partnership activations.
  • Print and digital design assets: Develop event collateral, partnership materials, sales enablement, brand visuals, field-ready collateral for the community outreach team, and other supporting work.
  • Collaboration: Partner with the Senior Content and Brand Manager on creative direction, brand standards execution, and editorial planning across owned channels. Partner with the Senior Growth Marketing Manager on creative for landing pages and lifecycle email programs, ensuring all creative is performance-disciplined and brand-consistent.
  • Creative Leadership: Support reviewing work from external creative partners to ensure adherence to brand standards, accurate service representation, and production quality.
  • Brand Asset Management: Maintain and evolve the brand asset library, creative file management, and version control across REE Medical's creative production work; ensure assets are discoverable and reusable across the marketing organization.
  • Veteran Centric: Own veteran community creative fluency: ensure all visual and motion content is culturally appropriate, respectful of military service and the realities of VA disability claims, and free of the exploitative tone that characterizes claim shark competitors.
  • Photography: Lead photography production and editing for events, partnerships, customer storytelling, and content needs across the marketing organization; manage photographer relationships when external resources are needed.
  • Leadership: Stay current on multimedia design trends, software capabilities, and platform-specific best practices; advocate for tools and capabilities that improve creative quality and production efficiency.
  • Culture: Model rigorous, brand-disciplined, and ethical creative practice; contribute to the broader marketing organization as it grows and supports knowledge sharing across creative and content disciplines.

Requirements
What you need to be successful:
  • Bachelor's degree in Design, Fine Arts, Communications, or a related field; equivalent professional experience considered.
  • 7+ years of multimedia design experience with direct ownership of video, motion graphics, photography, print, and digital production from brief through delivery.
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating versatility across multimedia disciplines and proven ability to produce agency-quality work in an in-house production environment.
  • Deep hands-on expertise with the Adobe Creative Suite: After Effects, Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign; familiarity with Figma, Sketch, or equivalent design and UX/UI tools.
  • Experience producing video and motion content end-to-end: concept development, shoot direction, editing, motion design, sound mixing, and final delivery.
  • Strong understanding of brand standards application across multimedia channels and platform-specific best practices; analytical mindset with comfort using performance data (engagement metrics, paid media performance, video completion rates) to refine creative output.
  • Self-starter who operates with minimal supervision, takes full ownership of outcomes, and proactively identifies and resolves issues.
  • Strong project management discipline: ability to manage multiple concurrent creative projects, balance priorities against marketing calendar demands, and deliver on time without sacrificing quality.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including translating creative concepts to non-creative stakeholders, taking and giving creative feedback constructively, and presenting work to senior leadership.
  • Hands-on photography experience: DSLR and mirrorless camera operation, lighting, on-location shoot management, and post-production editing across event, portrait, and product contexts, a plus.
  • Experience marketing in regulated, compliance-sensitive, or healthcare-adjacent categories, a plus.
  • Empathy for and understanding of the veteran community is a meaningful advantage; veteran and military-affiliated candidates are strongly encouraged to apply.
