Position Summary


We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Strategic Analyst to drive strategic initiatives and support decision-making across our organization. The ideal candidate will excel in translating complex data into actionable insights, developing robust business strategies, and effectively communicating with leadership. This role provides an opportunity to work on high-impact projects that shape the future direction of the business.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and evaluate progress toward strategic objectives using a balanced scorecard approach, maintaining a strategic tracking system to identify potential risks and opportunities.

  • Present progress updates clearly to senior leadership to support focus, prioritization, and informed decision-making.

  • Collaborate with senior leaders to develop and refine business unit strategies, translating vision into actionable plans.

  • Build, analyze, and maintain complex financial and operational models to support strategic initiatives.

  • Utilize both qualitative and quantitative data analyses to generate insights related to profitability, growth, and productivity.

  • Synthesize analytical findings into cohesive narratives, outlining key insights, recommended next steps, and developing detailed implementation plans.

  • Prepare and publish annual formal business plans and provide research support for enterprise-wide strategies and initiatives.


Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Business, Finance/Accounting, Economics, Construction Management, or a related field.

  • 7-10+ years of professional experience in data analytics, strategic consulting, or related roles within a business environment.

  • Proven ability to communicate effectively with all management levels, especially executives and senior leadership.

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills to establish credibility across organizational levels.

  • High regard for confidentiality and security of sensitive information.

  • Solid financial acumen with experience applying corporate finance concepts such as cash flow, capital investment, ROI, and payback periods.

  • Advanced analytical skills, including the ability to develop detailed financial and operational models, and to assess data quality.

  • Creative problem-solving capabilities, including structuring ambiguous issues, hypothesizing, and testing solutions.

  • Proficiency in developing clear and compelling presentations, particularly using PowerPoint.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for synthesizing complex analyses into executive-ready summaries.

  • Strong project management skills, capable of driving multiple initiatives concurrently to meet deadlines and objectives.

  • Experience within the construction industry is considered an advantage.
