What You'll Do:

Come and play with us on the Magic Events Team! You will work directly with the Sr. Event Marketing Manager and assist in the planning and implementation of the marketing campaigns associate with our events, You will help craft and edit fan-facing communications and execute campaigns promoting Magic's festivals including MagicCon, Gen Con, San Diego Comic Con and more!

We are looking for someone creative, with an eye for detail, who collaborates with others, and gets things done. You have probably worked on marketing campaigns for new consumer packaged goods, entertainment franchises, and/or handled corporate communications โ€“ preferably for an entertainment or collectibles brand.

What You'll Bring:
  • BA/BS or equivalent experience with a concentration in Marketing or Business.
  • A minimum of 4 years professional marketing experience.
  • A minimum of 4 years copy editing and copywriting experience.
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills.
  • Experience working with retail marketing agencies and design teams to create physical and digital marketing assets.
  • Ability to drive projects forward independently by providing clear and concise direction/feedback and influencing partners.
  • Knowledge of, curiosity about or experience with games, sci-fi, fantasy properties and passionate fan communities.
  • Knowledge of the pop culture and entertainment industry, trends and enthusiasm for research.
  • Ability to successfully implement campaigns and projects independently.
  • Rock solid organization, time management and attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative, flexible and positive demeanor.
  • The ability to travel multiple times per year, including international travel.
  • This role is onsite at our headquarters in Renton, WA and will require three in-office days per week
