We are looking for a detail-oriented Sr. Data Entry Clerk to support deal desk operations for an IT software organization in Richardson, Texas. This Contract position focuses on reviewing quote information, organizing approval materials, and maintaining accurate records that support timely business decisions. The ideal candidate is highly organized, comfortable working with large volumes of data, and able to communicate clearly with sales and product stakeholders.
Responsibilities:
• Review incoming quote requests, evaluate deal characteristics, and identify the appropriate approval path based on established guidelines.
• Assemble complete deal submission packets by gathering and organizing information from multiple data sources for leadership or pricing review.
• Partner with sales teams and product management to coordinate updates, clarify outstanding items, and help move approvals forward efficiently.
• Enter and maintain approval records, decision details, and related performance metrics with a high degree of accuracy.
• Preserve organized documentation and historical deal files to support audit readiness and future reference needs.
• Perform high-volume numeric and alphanumeric data entry while checking for completeness, consistency, and errors.
• Track the status of submissions and follow up on pending items to help ensure timely processing and resolution.• Proven experience in data entry, administrative support, or deal desk coordination within a business or technology environment.
• Strong typing skills with the ability to enter numeric and text-based information accurately and efficiently.
• Proficiency in computer-based data entry and working across multiple systems, spreadsheets, or internal tools.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to validate information and identify discrepancies before submission.
• Strong organizational and time management skills in a fast-paced, deadline-driven setting.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with sales, product, and leadership teams.
