Job description

Position:Senior SQL Server / SSIS Developer – PowerShell & Active Directory

Location:Raleigh NC (Onsite) –Locals ONLY

Duration: 6+ Months Contract

Job Description: Key Responsibilities:

Design| develop| and deploy SSIS packages for ETL workflows and data integration.
Write and optimize complex T-SQL queries| stored procedures| functions| and views.
Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts to automate database tasks| file transfers| user provisioning| and system maintenance.
Integrate data processes with Active Directory for authentication| group membership checks| and access management.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with SSIS packages| SQL Server jobs| and automation scripts.
Ensure data integrity| security| and compliance with enterprise policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including infrastructure| application| and security teams.
Monitor and tune database performance; analyze and optimize long-running queries and jobs.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in computer science| Information Systems| or related field.
5-7+ years of experience in SQL Server development and SSIS.
Proficiency in T-SQL| including query optimization and stored procedures.
Solid experience in writing and maintaining PowerShell scripts.
Working knowledge of Active Directory| including user/group management and LDAP queries.
Experience with job scheduling| error handling| and ETL best practices.

Preferred Skills:

Familiarity with SSRS or ETL solutions.
Experience with access provisioning| or Active Directory automation via PowerShell.
Understanding of DevOps tools (e.g.| Azure DevOps| Git) and Agile methodologies.
