Job description

SQL Reports Developer
Santa Ana, CA - Onsite

Requirements
Detail-oriented to ensure that settings/entries into systems are accurate and consistent.
Able to assume the primary duty of creating and managing user accounts in a wide variety of systems including changing permissions and resetting passwords.
Strong ability to write Microsoft SQL code to do data mining tasks in order to fulfill both internal and external requests.
Ability to create reports and dashboards using SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) and Power BI.
Assist with system testing as needed.
Ability to communicate clearly with end users in English, both orally and in writing, as well as produce clearly written documentation of processes/troubleshooting steps for use by other team members.
Other duties as required, in alignment with skills and experience.
Must pass a full law enforcement background.
Must pass a certification test from the State's Department of Justice in order to access Criminal Justice Systems (which is essential for the position).
Desirable Skills/Knowledge
Supporting/implementing interfaces between systems using common data formats including XML, JSON, CSV, etc. and technologies including web-services, FTP, etc.
Basic programming skills using technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, C#, .NET, etc.
Experience with Active Directory, specifically Security Groups and Distribution Lists.
Basic understanding of computer networking principles including equipment and protocols.
