Job Title: SQL Developer (SME)

Location: Allen, TX (Onsite – Tue/Wed/Thu)
Duration: 6-12+ Months Contract
Work Hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: W2 Only (USC / GC Only – No C2C/Subvendors)

Job Summary

We are looking for an SME-level SQL Developer with deep expertise in MS SQL Server 2022 and advanced T-SQL development. The role focuses on high-performance database optimization, high availability, and modernization of legacy systems for a mission-critical on-premise solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and optimize high-performance database objects
  • Write efficient stored procedures, UDFs, and triggers
  • Improve query performance and transaction handling
  • Implement physical database design and storage optimization
  • Work with SQL Profiler, Extended Events, Query Store
  • Support high availability and reliability solutions
  • Refactor legacy systems using modern SQL capabilities
  • Manage database security (roles & permissions)
  • Collaborate in Agile teams for full SDLC delivery
