Job description

Software Guidance & Assistance, Inc., (SGA), is searching for a C#/.Net Developer with Strong SQL Performance Tuning for a right to hire assignment with one of our premier clients. This is not a Manager level nor Architect position.
This role will be remote - EST time zone candidates.
Our technology client is seeking a .NET Developer for a Contract-to-Hire opportunity to take ownership of an established product and become productive very quickly. The successful candidate needs to be comfortable picking up an existing/legacy codebase, understanding it quickly, troubleshooting issues and making pragmatic improvements without needing to rewrite the product.
Required Technical Skills :
  • C# / .NET
  • IIS and production web applications
  • SQL Server, with strong database performance-tuning experience
  • SQL execution plans, query optimization, indexing and stored procedure tuning
  • Diagnosing locking, blocking, and database bottlenecks
  • Kendo UI, jQuery, JavaScript, HTML/CSS
  • Web architecture and established design patterns
  • Working with and improving legacy applications
  • Complex debugging and root-cause analysis
  • Event-driven architecture, asynchronous processing, and messaging
  • Experienced with Azure DevOps
  • Ideally experience with technologies such as Azure Service Bus, RabbitMQ, Kafka or similar
  • Production support and the ability to work independently
