Job description

SecureVision has an immediate need for a SQL database analyst to analyze, design, develop, implement, and support SQL infrastructure deployment and management. The individual will work under limited supervision and perform additional duties as assigned to include, but not limited to:
โ€ข Manages the functionality and efficiency of a group of servers running on one or more operating systems.
โ€ข Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
โ€ข Sets up administrator and service accounts.
โ€ข Maintains system documentation
โ€ข Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
โ€ข Develops and monitors policies and standards for allocation related to the use of computing resources.
โ€ข Develops and implements testing strategies and document results.
โ€ข Provides advice on performance tuning and training to end-users.
โ€ข Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
โ€ข Participates in special projects as required. Requirements:
โ€ข Bachelors Degree in a Computer Science or related technical discipline, or the equivalent combination of education, technical certifications or training, or work experience
โ€ข 10 + years of related database analysis and/or administration experience.
โ€ข SQL experience required. Oracle database administration a plus.
โ€ข CompTIA Security+ or equivalent recommended.
โ€ข Experience in Oracle or SQL administration/tuning; including knowledge and implementation of database high-availability solutions (Windows Server Failover Clusters, SQL Server Failover Cluster instances, and AlwaysOn Availability groups)
โ€ข Experience in monitoring, creating, and managing SQL server agent alerts
โ€ข Experience with Database backup, restore, migration, and Database snapshot technologies/strategies
โ€ข Knowledge on how to build/maintain efficient database table structures for both transactional and warehouse data
โ€ข Knowledge of Oracle 19c administration and performance tuning Candidates must hold a TS/SCI
