The Opportunity

P&G is seeking a talented and experienced Software Engineer to join our innovative One Digital Warehouse team. This role will be crucial in developing, maintaining, and improving our digital warehouse software solutions, leveraging expertise across software engineering, quality assurance, and DevOps practices.
Job Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy, and maintain secure and high-quality software solutions for our One Digital Warehouse platform.

  • Adherence to P&G's IT policy

  • Collaborate with product management to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and translate business needs into scalable software solutions.

  • Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines and other DevOps practices to ensure efficient and reliable software delivery.

  • Conduct thorough software quality assurance activities, including writing and executing test cases, identifying defects, and working with the development team to resolve them.

  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring adherence to coding standards, best practices, and architectural guidelines.

  • Troubleshoot and debug software issues, providing timely and effective resolutions.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of software development processes and tools.

  • Mentor junior engineers and share knowledge within the team.

Job Qualifications

Required:

  • 3+ years of professional experience in Python development

  • 3+ years of experience delivering software engineering related projects

  • Understanding of DevOps principles and tools (e.g., Git, Jenkins, Docker, Kubernetes, AWS/Azure/GCP).

  • Demonstrated experience in Software Quality Assurance (SQA), including test automation and various testing methodologies.

  • Familiarity with Product Management concepts and experience collaborating effectively with product teams.

  • Experience with database systems (SQL and/or NoSQL).

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a collaborative environment.

  • Ability to work a hybrid work schedule in Cincinnati, OH.

  • Open to minimal yearly travel as needed (5-10%).

Preferred:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field

  • Proficiency in Java, React. C#, Go, or other modern programming languages

  • At least 1-2 years’ experience with software development and automations

  • Strong hands-on experience with Power Platform (Power Apps, Power BI, etc.)

  • Experience developing and buildings applications in Microsoft Azure (e.g., Web Apps, Mobile Apps, Function Apps)

  • Strong understanding of code management through GitHub

  • Certified on one or more of the following: DevOps Foundation, Professional Scrum Master (PSM1), Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO1), Microsoft Azure AZ-104

Pay Range: $85,000 - $122,200
