Description
The Mac Operations Program Specialist (OPS) plays a key role in launching Apple's new products on time with superior product quality and maximum customer availability. You will be a key facilitator who defines and drives material strategy to enable manufacturing line bring-up, collaborates with engineering to define the final bill of materials, and helps ensure a successful product launch with all lines brought up on schedule and within budget.
This role is well-suited for someone who is self-directed, thinks beyond the immediate task, and brings a systems-level perspective to operational challenges. We are looking for someone who can execute with precision on day-to-day deliverables while also demonstrating the strategic instincts and cross-functional leadership presence needed to grow within Product Operations.
Minimum Qualifications
3+ years of industry experience in NPI, Supply Chain Management, or Manufacturing Operations
Bachelor's degree required, preferably in Supply Chain/Operations, Engineering, or a related technical discipline
Preferred Qualifications
Systems thinker: able to connect tactical execution to broader program and business outcomes
Ability to consolidate detailed cross-functional data into concise executive briefings
Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable presenting to management
Data-driven decision-making; high attention to detail while managing multiple concurrent workstreams
Experience with AI tools, automation platforms, or scripting to build solutions that optimize and automate operational workflows (e.g., Python, SQL, no-code/low-code tools, LLM-based tooling)
Excel, database, and statistical software experience (SPSS, SAS, SQL, etc.) a plus
Ability to build strong cross-functional relationships and influence without direct authority
Master's or MBA a plus
