Position Summary

Innovative Ag Services is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Energy Intern to support our Energy team. This seasonal, part-time role focuses on field data collection, system support, and marketing content development. The intern will play a key role in enhancing the accuracy of our ERP systems and delivery software while helping showcase our energy operations through visual content.


Key Responsibilities

Data Collection & System Support

  • Collect and document tank location data (latitude/longitude)
  • Record equipment details, including regulator manufacturing dates
  • Assist with gathering accurate data for ERP systems and delivery software

Installation Support

  • Assist with the installation of tank monitoring devices (as needed)
  • Support field technicians and energy team members

Marketing Content Development

  • Capture photos and videos of LP, diesel, and gas tanks
  • Document cardtrol equipment through visual media
  • Provide content to support marketing campaigns and updates

Qualifications

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to learn and take initiative in a hands-on environment
  • Basic familiarity with mobile technology or data entry is a plus

Physical Requirements & Environmental Adaptability

  • Agricultural Environment: Possible exposure to seasonal weather, outdoor conditions, and agricultural products
  • Physical Strength & Movement:
    • Ability to lift, push, pull, or carry objects up to 70 pounds
    • Ability to bend, stretch, twist, and reach using full body movement
    • Core strength required to support repetitive or sustained physical activity
    • Some tasks may involve repetitive motion
  • Work Environment: Combination of indoor and outdoor work conditions
