As a Spray Technician, you will play a vital role in maintaining and enhancing our landscapes through expert weed control and fertilization procedures. Responsibilities
  • Schedule and perform weed control and fertilization procedures, including inspections, maintenance, and responses.
  • Operate a range of vehicles and tools for the application of herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and fertilizers.
  • Apply chemicals and fertilizers in accordance with industry practices and regulatory agency rules.
  • Maintain cleanliness of facilities and equipment, and manage inventory of materials.
  • Keep accurate records of chemical and biological agents used.
  • Evaluate and prepare cost estimates for various projects.
  • Ensure safe and appropriate use and disposal of various chemicals and products.
  • Inspect completed work and procure parts, materials, and equipment as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies to ensure all work and activities are performed safely.
  • Be prepared to work in harsh weather conditions and perform mitigation efforts in emergencies.
Qualifications
  • Experience in operating light to heavy vehicles and tools, such as trucks, sprayers, and spreaders.
  • Knowledge of industry practices and regulatory agency rules for the application of chemicals and fertilizers.
  • Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare cost estimates.
  • Capability to work in harsh weather conditions and perform mitigation efforts in emergencies.
