Production Associate – Spray Dryer Facility
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
Position Summary
Codis is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Production Associate – Spray Dryer Facility to support operations within the Spray Dryer Area. This position is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment, completing production processes, maintaining accurate documentation, and ensuring all work is performed in accordance with established safety procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and current Good Manufacturing Practices.
The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented manufacturing environment.
Primary Responsibilities
- Operate various manufacturing processes and equipment within the Spray Dryer Area.
- Perform all aspects of the manufacturing process, including material weighing, processing, in-process testing, final product inspection, and packaging.
- Perform additional manufacturing functions as assigned, including blending, sifting, milling, packaging, and material handling.
- Complete batch records and other required documentation accurately and in accordance with applicable SOPs and cGMP requirements.
- Maintain accurate, complete, and up-to-date production documentation.
- Operate, monitor, and troubleshoot unit operations within the assigned area of responsibility.
- Assist with training less-experienced employees on manufacturing processes, equipment operation, plant procedures, SOPs, and cGMP requirements.
- Maintain production equipment, workspaces, and manufacturing facilities in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.
- Perform equipment and area cleaning in accordance with established procedures.
- Review batch records and other GMP-related documents for completeness and accuracy.
- Assist other Associates after assigned tasks have been completed.
- Support other manufacturing departments and work areas as needed.
- Follow all company safety policies, quality requirements, and manufacturing procedures.
- Immediately report equipment concerns, documentation discrepancies, safety issues, or product quality concerns to the appropriate supervisor.
- Perform other related duties as assigned to support departmental and company objectives.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 pounds frequently and repetitively.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Frequent twisting, turning, bending, reaching, squatting, and repetitive hand movement.
- Ability to work in wet conditions during equipment and facility cleaning.
- Ability to repeatedly ascend and descend stairs.
- Ability to work in manufacturing environments that may be hot, humid, noisy, or dusty.
- Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Previous manufacturing, production, pharmaceutical, food-processing, chemical-processing, or related industrial experience preferred.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures, batch records, and work instructions.
- Basic math and reading comprehension skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to accurately complete documentation in a regulated manufacturing environment.
- Ability to work independently while also contributing effectively as part of a team.
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees at all levels of the organization.
- Ability and willingness to learn multiple manufacturing processes and equipment operations.
- Ability to operate or become qualified to operate industrial equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks.

Work Schedule

- Monday through Friday
- 3:00 PM–11:30 PM
- Additional hours or overtime may occasionally be required based on production needs.
