Associate Operator, Spray Dry Split
New Ulm, MN

Come join our team as a Split Operator at DSM-Firmenich. Here, you will work with the best ingredients on the planet making over 900 flavors and scents. Come feel empowered knowing you are contributing to lives of many across the planet!
Your key responsibilities
  • Disassemble, clean, and reassemble equipment as needed during wash-ups and reassembly
  • Clean and Sanitize rooms as needed. Titrate chemicals as needed
    Participate in washing functions during wash times in all areas
    Accurately package product, perform Quality Control checks, HACCP checks and sampling requirements as needed
  • Move full pallets using the pallet jack.
  • Perform all necessary duties of the packing powder into bags/super sacs
  • Perform all Quality Control and Safety duties

You bring
โ€ข High School Diploma / GED preferred and prior experience handling chemicals
โ€ข Minimum 1-3 years of packing compounding experience and understanding of special formula instructions
โ€ข Knowledge of G.M.P's (Good Manufacturing Practices) and H.A.C.C.P (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points)
โ€ข Forklift experience and ability to be on your feet up to 90% of the day
โ€ข Ability to lift a 35 lb product hose; frequently move, lift, pull & push up to 50 lbs
โ€ข Ability to work in a facility with minimal temperature control and exposure to outside temperatures
The salary or hourly wage scale provided reflects the pay range dsm-firmenich expects to pay the successful candidate for the position. Individual pay offered will be based on the applicant's job-related skills, experience, relevant education, or training, and primary work location. Salary $26.58 per hour.
In addition to base salary, we also offer a comprehensive total rewards package, inclusive of annual incentive pay, a retirement savings plan, health care coverage, paid time off, recognition programs and a broad range of other benefits. All benefits and incentives are subject to eligibility requirements.
